BDS/PD — Proto Division

Dedicated division

From drawing to first article — fast

A long-running division built for the work that cannot wait for a production line: prototypes, first articles, EMS builds and low-batch runs across every metal we forge and machine.

Why we built it

Prototypes lose their value when they arrive late. So we stopped running them through the production queue and gave them their own division.

The prototype and low-batch market is growing fast — EV platforms, industrial equipment and new mobility products all need small quantities of real, production-grade metal parts long before a tooling order exists. Proto Division exists to win exactly that work.

BDS/PD — What the division does

Four things, done properly

01

Rapid prototyping

First articles and design-validation parts turned around on dedicated machines, not squeezed between production batches.

02

Low-batch production

Economical runs in any metal we work — alloy and stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, copper alloys and superalloys.

03

EMS

Test fixtures and machined mechanical content for electronics, in metals and engineering polymers, shipped assembled.

04

High accuracy

The same metrology and quality system as series production — prototypes are measured, not eyeballed.

BDS/PD — Process & material matrix

What we can cut, and in what

The processes a prototype can run through, the materials each one takes and the size it can handle. Lead time is quoted with the price, every time.

BDS/PD — The team

A dedicated team, not spare capacity

Proto Division runs on its own skilled manpower — quick-machining specialists, CNC programmers and raw-material sourcing experts who work only on prototype and low-batch work. That is why lead times hold when the drawing changes on Friday.

  • Quick machining
  • CNC programming
  • Raw-material sourcing
  • Fixture & tooling design
  • First-article inspection
